Joining MyGovinda’s means contributing to a respected culinary brand with strong roots in the local community.Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. The Senior Accountant will prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The role includes monitoring cash flow, analyzing financial performance for multiple restaurant locations, and providing financial insights to support management decisions. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with operations and management teams, coordinate with external auditors, and help improve financial processes, systems, and reporting accuracy.QualificationsStrong proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control in a multi-location or hospitality/restaurant environment.Knowledge of UAE accounting standards, tax regulations (including VAT), and compliance requirements, with ability to maintain robust internal controls.Advanced skills in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid Excel capabilities for data analysis and financial modeling.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Prior experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, ideally within the F&B, hospitality, or retail sector in the UAE.Preferable if experience in SAP or FocusPreferable if experience in understanding delivery aggregator businessPackage - AED 8000/month
