Operating from a new state-of-the-art production facility in Kingsgrove, NSW, with a dedicated demonstration kitchen, Krio Krush specializes in custom blends for both savory and sweet applications jncluding ‘Flavon’ chicken salt.Role Description Based on-site in Kingsgrove, NSW, the Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable review, month-end and year-end closing processes.This role will prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts to support informed decision-making and business growth. The role manages compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, and coordinates with external auditors as needed. The position will also involve process improvement initiatives, supporting ERP and finance system enhancements, and partnering with operations and leadership teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial performance for the manufacturing business.Qualifications Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including general ledger management, month-end close, and preparation of financial statements.Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support planning and performance monitoring.Experience with cost accounting, inventory valuation, and margin analysis in a manufacturing or food production environment.Solid knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control frameworks.Advanced skills using accounting and ERP systems, as well as Excel and other spreadsheet or data analysis tools.Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a structured approach to process improvement.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional qualification is highly regarded.Several years of experience in a senior accounting or similar role, preferably within manufacturing, foodservice, or FMCG industries.
