Senior Accountant

Job Title – Senior AccountantType – Long Term Contract Work Location – Abu DhabiSalary – AED 14000 NP- Immediate / 30 daysIndustry- Real estate Mandatory details/Skills-Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.Maintain the General Ledger, prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reports.Handle Project Accounting, including project budgets, contractor accruals, and cost allocations.Perform revenue recognition (IFRS 15) and treasury accounting, including multi-currency bank reconciliations.Manage Fixed Assets, intercompany reconciliations, and support internal and external audits.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and reporting timelines.Prepare intercompany transactions and reconciliations and share with related-party counterparts monthly.Reconcile advances to suppliers and retention payable with the AP team.Key Skills RequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA/ACCA/CMA preferred).8 years of accounting experience, including 2–3 years in UAE/GCC Real Estate, Property, or Construction Finance.Proven experience managing full-cycle month-end close in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP (GL, AP, Fixed Assets, Projects/PPM, Cost Management).Strong knowledge of IFRS (IFRS 15, IFRS 9, IAS 23, IAS 16, IAS 38, IAS 21).Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience handling large datasets and reconciliations.Exposure to developer financing, escrow-funded projects, and project cost control is preferred.Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and ADREC regulations is an advantage.
