Senior Accountant

📢 We’re Hiring | Senior Accountant – Makkah, Saudi ArabiaWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a leading company within the Automotive Industry in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.If you have a strong background in finance operations, VAT compliance, accounting, and financial reporting, we would be happy to hear from you.Key Requirements:• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in finance/accounting operations• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance• Professional certification or postgraduate qualification such as MBA, MSc, or ACCA would be highly advantageous• Strong experience in AR, AP, Inventory, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations• Experience with Hyperion or similar financial reporting systems is preferred• Good understanding of internal and external audit requirementsKey Responsibilities:• Ensure timely closure of AR, AP, and Inventory modules• Manage VAT accounting and ensure timely and accurate submission of VAT returns• Support the implementation of VAT compliance procedures and provide required tax information when needed• Reconcile intercompany balances and variances• Oversee bank reconciliations and cash management activities• Support internal and external audits• Upload and reconcile Trial Balance data in Hyperion, resolve validation issues, and map GL accounts• Ensure timely and accurate GL setup and coding
