BookBI is built to be stress-free and fully compliant with UAE requirements, helping growing businesses manage finance and bookkeeping with confidence.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Dubai. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing general ledger entries, preparing financial statements, and reconciling accounts. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, reviewing and improving internal controls, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret financial data, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide guidance to junior accounting staff. The role also includes supporting the integration of AI-powered tools into accounting workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.QualificationsStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; familiarity with AI-driven financial tools is an advantage.Ability to ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.Proven ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment and mentor junior team members.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.Experience in startup or tech-driven environments is a plus, as well as familiarity with UAE accounting and tax practices.If you're passionate about accounting, innovation, and helping shape the future of AI-powered finance, we'd love to hear from you.Please send your CV to: hr@bookbi.comSubject line: Senior Accountant Application – Your Full NameOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
