Built on long-term partnerships and tailored solutions for demanding B2B and B2G applications, Sandstorm is committed to strengthening automotive manufacturing, localization, and specialized vehicle offerings in the UAE and across the region.Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. The Senior Accountant prepares and reviews financial statements, supports budgeting and forecasting, monitors cash flow, and ensures compliance with internal policies, IFRS, and applicable local regulations. The role also oversees accounts payable and receivable processes, coordinates with external auditors, and provides financial analysis and reporting to management to support business decisions. The Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and leadership teams to maintain accurate financial records for manufacturing projects and commercial contracts.Qualifications Strong technical accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management to support strategic and operational decisions.Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms, advanced Excel skills, and ability to work with data to produce clear financial reports.Sound knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations, with experience in audit coordination and compliance with internal controls.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities, with the ability to handle complex accounting issues.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage.Relevant experience in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial sectors is highly beneficial, particularly in cost accounting and project-based finance.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality.
