The Senior Accountant oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities.Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and Excel, along with the ability to work with ERP(Odoo,Zoho ) or financial management systems. This role prepares financial statements, management reports, and forecasts, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies. The Senior Accountant monitors budgets, supports cost analysis for projects, and collaborates with operations and management to provide financial insights that guide business decisions. The role also involves coordinating with external auditors, improving internal controls, and mentoring junior accounting team members.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.Candidates should possess financial reporting and analysis skills, including preparation of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Candidates should possess knowledge of tax and regulatory compliance, including familiarity with relevant UAE financial regulations and standards.Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and Excel, along with the ability to work with ERP(Odoo,Zoho ) or financial management systems.Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage.Several years of experience in a senior accounting or similar role; experience in construction, manufacturing, or high-end design industries is beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
