Professionals joining CGS Group become part of a team that supports regional growth and operational excellence in essential supply chains.Role Description The Senior Accountant role at CGS Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh. The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing general ledger activities, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing. This role includes managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and subsidiary accounts, and monitoring cash flow and working capital. The Senior Accountant prepares financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses, supports budgeting and forecasting, and ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls, and tax regulations. The role also involves collaborating with internal departments, supporting audits, improving financial processes, and providing guidance to junior accounting team members.Qualifications Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including general ledger management, financial statements preparation, and month-end/year-end closing.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance monitoring.Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable management, reconciliations, and cash flow tracking.Skill in using accounting and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar), as well as advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and local tax and regulatory requirements.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to communicate clearly, work collaboratively across teams, and mentor junior accounting staff.Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial sectors is beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Riyadh and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
