The Senior Accountant will play an important role in the month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations and ongoing improvement of accounting processes and controls.The position offers broad exposure across corporate and operational accounting and is well suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where they can take ownership, solve problems and help improve how things are done.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the monthly and year-end close processesPrepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain and analyze general ledger accountsAssist with inventory, fixed assets, intercompany, and other operational accounting areasPerform financial statement and account variance analysisSupport financial reporting and management reportingAssist with audit preparation and supporting schedulesPartner with accounting and operational teams to resolve discrepanciesHelp document, standardize, and improve accounting processesSupport additional accounting and finance initiatives as the organization continues to growQualifications3+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong general ledger and month-end close experienceExperience preparing journal entries and account reconciliationsSolid understanding of U.S. GAAPStrong Excel skillsExperience working with ERP or accounting systemsManufacturing, aerospace & defense, or another inventory-based industry is preferredInventory and/or cost accounting exposure is a plusAudit support or multi-entity accounting experience is beneficialStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsIdeal CandidateWe're looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and interested in growing with the organization.
