Senior AccountantEast Los Angeles Area | Hybrid (2–3 Days Onsite)$90,000–$105,000 + BenefitsA growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This role will be responsible for overseeing month-end close activities, preparing financial reporting packages, performing account analyses, and supporting operational leaders with financial information across multiple business units.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, accountability, and collaboration are highly valued.ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple operating entitiesLead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliationsAnalyze financial results and investigate variances, trends, and discrepanciesMaintain fixed asset schedules, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other balance sheet accountsPartner with internal departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data and reportingSupport external audits, tax preparation, and compliance-related requestsAssist with process improvements and the implementation of accounting best practicesPrepare ad hoc financial analyses and management reports as neededEnsure financial records are maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close responsibilitiesStrong understanding of financial statement preparation and account reconciliation processesAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlinesStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsExperience in healthcare, multi-entity organizations, or regulated industries is a plusWhat You'll Find HereStable and growing organization with long-term career growth opportunitiesCollaborative team environment with direct exposure to leadershipCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to make a meaningful impact within a mission-driven organizationThis is a hybrid position requiring approximately 2–3 days per week onsite in the East Los Angeles area.
