Senior Accountant

Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Handle UAE VAT compliance, including VAT calculations, reconciliations, documentation, and return preparation.Support UAE Corporate Tax calculations, compliance, documentation, and filing requirements.Perform bank, vendor, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, and journal entries.Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure accurate depreciation accounting.Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and variance analysis.For manufacturing operations, support inventory accounting, costing, stock reconciliation, and cost analysis.Coordinate with internal/external auditors and provide required financial documentation.Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable UAE regulations.Maintain accurate accounting records through ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, or Oracle.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting accuracy.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing/industrial companies.Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.Experience with Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.Good understanding of financial reporting, GL accounting, reconciliations, and month-end closing.Manufacturing accounting experience, including inventory and costing, is highly preferred.CA / ACCA / CMA / CPA qualification or part-qualification would be an advantage.
