Senior Accountant

We are an authorized Caterpillar dealer in Vietnam, serving the construction, mining, power and marine sectors. Our Finance & Accounting function is currently implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (Phase 1).This role takes full ownership of business-as-usual accounting for the assigned legal entity - from daily transaction processing through to closing, statutory financial statements and management reporting - so that the monthly reporting calendar is met in full and on time.ResponsibilitiesTake responsibility for the accounting records of the assigned legal entity and ensure a timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.Review accounting transactions for accuracy, completeness and timeliness, and ensure they are recorded in line with VAS and company policies.Process routine Accounts Payable (AP) – vendor invoices, payment preparation, and supplier records.Process routine Accounts Receivable (AR) – customer invoices, receipts, billing schedules, and follow-up.Record general ledger (GL) entries and maintain accurate finance records.Perform bank reconciliations and support cash and expense management.Perform month-end tasks – accruals, standard journals and reconciliations.Prepare and submit monthly finance and management reports.Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits and respond to routine information requests.Maintain finance filing, documentation, and record-keeping in line with company procedures.Support the Finance team with ad-hoc routine tasks.QualificationsUniversity degree or above in Finance / Accounting / Audit.At least 3 years' experience at the same levelFluent in English.General computer skills.Experience working with ERP / accounting systems.Strong with numbers; structured, process-oriented thinking.Managerial and soft skills.Solid working knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and current statutory reporting requirements.
