We build a better way.The Senior Accountant will report to the Head of Finance and take day to day responsibility for accounting, financial reporting and project cost management across the business. In a newly established team with a large and growing pipeline, the role covers a broad scope of financial management activities including AP, AR, bank, payroll, tax, month-end processes and project reporting.As Senior Account you will:Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts, reporting on variances and financial trendsMaintain P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting, including reconciliations and month/year-end close supportManage AP/AR and Projects Ledger data, and monitor cash flow and commercial matters (contracts, insurances, bonds/guarantees)Support local regulatory and tax reporting requirements in compliance with UAE regulationsSupport financial systems/ERP improvements, testing, and maintenance of reporting schedules and KPIsAssist in developing accounting policies and internal controls documentationTrack and report project-level costs, budgets, and P&L, including subcontractor/PO allocationsSupport the Head of Finance with board reporting, Arada parent liaison, and external audit coordinationWhat will make you stand out?Experience in accounting or finance roles in the Construction or Engineering sectorsSolid technical accounting skills across AP, AR, payroll, tax and financial reportingHands on experience with ERP systems in a construction or project based environmentDemonstrated ability to support month end close processes and financial reporting cyclesQualified accountant (CPA, CA or equivalent) with minimum 6-8 years relevant experienceLogical approach and mindset to harnessing AI selectively within the finance function (Claude specifically) is favoured stronglyWe’re committed to building an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone feels valued.
