In addition, Gidi Civil Construction Limited provides interior design and decoration services, supporting clients with integrated solutions for their construction and infrastructural needs.Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage the company’s financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities, ensuring accurate and timely records of all transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing reconciliations. We are looking for a commercially minded accounting professional with strong experience in financial reporting, project accounting, audit, taxation, internal controls, and financial management, preferably within the construction, engineering, real estate, or related industry.This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, requiring close collaboration with project teams and leadership to support effective financial management.QualificationsStrong skills in financial accounting, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation.Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis for project-based environments.Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant experience at a senior level.Proven experience in audit, financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations.Strong knowledge of construction/project accounting will be a major advantage.📍 Location: Lagos, Nigeria🏢 Industry: Construction / Real Estate💼 Employment Type: Full-timeHow to ApplyInterested candidates should send their CV to gidicivilhumanresource@gidicivilconstruction.com with the subject line “Application – Senior Accountant.”Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
