Senior AccountantLocation: Dulles, VA (onsite, 5 days/week) Compensation: $90,000 + discretionary year-end bonus (5–10%)A well-established, mid-sized organization in Dulles is hiring a Senior Accountant to join its corporate finance team. This is a high-visibility role with regular exposure to the executive team and a clear seat at the table in a stable, growing company.You'll own core general ledger work and play a key part in monthly and year-end close, financial reporting, and the annual audit. The team moves fast and handles special projects as they come up, so we're looking for someone who can pick things up quickly and pivot when priorities shift.What you'll do:Manage month-end and year-end closePrepare journal entries and bank reconciliationsBuild and review monthly financial statementsSupport the year-end auditReconcile payroll entriesWork closely with AP and AR teamsHandle financial reporting and special projects as neededGain exposure to foreign currency transactionsWhat we're looking for:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceHands-on experience with month-end and year-end closeStrong journal entry and bank reconciliation experienceStrong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs a must)Solid GAAP knowledgeExperience at a company with enough complexity to support a real close cycleGreat Plains experience is a big plusWhy this role: High visibility, close partnership with leadership, and a very stable company with strong tenure.
