Our U.S. operations continue to grow, and we’re looking for a hands-on Accountant to join our team in Irvine, California.This role will focus primarily on day-to-day Accounts Receivable and collections across wholesale and eCommerce channels, while also supporting AP, month-end close, reporting, and broader accounting operations. The position blends hands-on transactional responsibilities with opportunities to grow into more analytical and operational accounting work as the business scales.The RoleThe Accountant will own core AR and AP functions while supporting broader accounting processes across general ledger, wholesale and eCommerce operations, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals who enjoys detail-oriented work and taking on expanding responsibility.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivables, Accounts Payable & Inventory AccountingProcess vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payments accurately and timelyEnter and apply customer payments across wholesale and eCommerce channelsInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment issuesMaintain AP and AR aging schedules and support cash flow visibilityReconcile eCommerce sales, refunds, fees, and chargebacks from online sales platforms (e.g., Shopify)Assist with payment processor and clearing account reconciliationsSupport inventory and order management accounting through Cin7, including sales synchronization between Cin7, Shopify, and XeroHelp reconcile Cin7 clearing accounts related to sales, inventory movements, and fulfillmentBanking, Credit Cards & ReconciliationsClear and reconcile daily bank feeds and transactionsCode and reconcile corporate credit card transactions with proper documentationAssist with balance sheet reconciliationsMonth-End Close & ReportingAssist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.Prepare and support weekly Flash reports and KPI trackers.Process and distribute monthly sales commission reportsRespond to management inquiries and ad hoc reporting requestsGeneral SupportAssist with audits, documentation, and process improvementsSupport special projects as needed across accounting and operationsQualifications3–5 years of accounting experience with strong Accounts Receivable experience (retail, apparel, or eCommerce strongly preferred)Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and basic GAAP principlesHands-on experience with AP, AR, and reconciliationsExperience with eCommerce accounting and ShopifyStrong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)Experience with accounting systems such as XeroExperience with Cin7 or similar inventory/order management systems strongly preferredHighly organized with strong attention to detailCollaborative, team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills
