This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to bring their expertise and knowledge to a forward-thinking company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial analysis, general ledger, and account reconciliation with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the field.Responsibilities: Complete the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Perform detailed financial analysis to provide senior management with definitive financial data and advice for their use in setting and realizing profit objectives. Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs. Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close process. Coordinate with tax advisors to prepare federal, state, and local tax returns. Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes. Research and analyze financial reports and market trends. Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are required Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a accounting. Proven experience with financial analysis, general ledger, and account reconciliation. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills. Ability to work independently, with little supervision. Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment. Excellent time management skills and a proven track record of working to tight deadlines. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity. Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.Interested in hearing more?
