Senior Accountant

Company Description: A reputed College is requiring a Senior Accountant with minimum 4 years of Accounting Experience.Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. The position involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable oversight, and reconciliations. The Senior Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, support audits, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, and assist in tax calculations and filings. The role also includes analyzing financial data, preparing management reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and collaborating with junior team members to maintain high-quality client service.Qualifications4+ years of experience as an accountantExperience in school or college is additional advantage Bachelors' completedStrong accounting and financial reporting skills, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.Experience with auditing, assurance, and compliance activities, preferably within a chartered accountancy or professional services environment.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare clear, structured reports.Knowledge of local tax laws, regulatory requirements, and relevant accounting standards applicable in Nepal.
