About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and contribute to the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the company's financial operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, supporting financial reporting activities, and maintaining robust internal controls.Working closely with various departments, you will be responsible for managing accounting processes, ensuring the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, and supporting the company's financial performance through sound accounting practices.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.Manage general ledger activities and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.Prepare financial reports and analyses to support management decision-making.Monitor balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies when necessary.Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, customer accounts, and supplier accounts.Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as required.Assist in the preparation of statutory reports, tax declarations, and regulatory filings.Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations.Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls.Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and ethical business standards.ProfileBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a General Accounting or Finance role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.Experience working with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is considered a strong asset.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Fluency in French and Arabic; a good command of English is required.Joining our team means becoming part of an international organization committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
