Senior Accountant

This is a full-time on-site Senior Accountant role. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring that financial reports reflect accurate information. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures, managing budget preparation, and collaborating with other teams for financial planning and analysis. Senior Account role shall include the following:Preparation of all monthly financial reports and tax reportsManage accounts payable & receivableReconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and cost accounting Performs project cost allocation.Bank Reconciliation & Variance AnalysisPreparation of any reports related to PayrollManage Fixed Asset and DepreciationReview Subcontractor Claims by examining submitted work progress and verify against contract terms and site reports for issuance of paymentAssist in overall accounting worksReporting and budgeting as required by ManagementQualifications5+ years of experience in accounting and financeExperience using accounting softwareKnowledge of accounting principles and practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skills and ability to build relationshipsExperience working in the construction industry is a plusBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, CPA certification strongly preferredImmediate Joiner preferred
