With more than sixty years of experience in the oud, perfume, and related products industry, the company has expanded its operations across the Gulf markets and developed a strong retail presence with more than 300 outlets across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar.About the RoleTo manage and support accounting operations by ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, maintaining proper financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies, IFRS, and applicable regulations.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain the general ledger.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.Perform bank, customer, supplier, and balance sheet reconciliations.Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.Prepare financial statements, management reports, and accounting schedules.Monitor expenses, receivables, payables, and outstanding balances.Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.Support VAT, tax, and statutory reporting requirements.Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and internal controls.Support internal and external audit activities.Utilize ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, for accounting and reporting.Prepare financial analysis and reports using Microsoft Excel.Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Operations, HR, and other departments on financial matters.Support finance process improvements and internal control initiatives.Prepare periodic financial reports and provide relevant analysis to management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.Required SkillsMinimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the retail, perfume, FMCG, or multi-branch environment.Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.Good knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience in reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Fluency in Arabic and English.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
