The mission of Zero Max is to make car ownership more accessible, affordable, and hassle-free for everyone.Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This role is responsible for managing the company’s general ledger, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions. The Senior Accountant will oversee accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank accounts, monitor cash flows, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The role includes preparing budgets and forecasts, analyzing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support audits, recommend process improvements, and provide financial insights to management to aid decision-making.Qualifications Strong proficiency in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting.Knowledge of UAE accounting and tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes.Advanced skills in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as MS Excel and other productivity tools.Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.Proven experience in a senior accounting or similar role, preferably within the automotive, leasing, or financial services sector.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Dubai and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
