Team members join a dynamic environment where financial expertise and forward-looking investment strategies are highly valued.Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations for THRAA | ثراء. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The Senior Accountant will oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor cash flow, and assist with internal and external audits. The role also involves reviewing financial data for accuracy, preparing management reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial controls and processes. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, where regular on-site presence is required, combined with flexibility for some work from home.Qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP), including experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysis and reporting.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making and performance monitoring.Understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes within Saudi Arabia or similar jurisdictions.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, with a focus on improving financial processes and controls.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or SOCPA is preferred.Several years of progressively responsible accounting experience, ideally including work in investment, financial services, or related sectors.
