Perform monthly bank reconciliations across all company accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner2. Prepare and post inter-company journal entries, ensuring accurate elimination and reconciliation between related entities3. Record and review monthly accruals (expense, revenue, payroll, and other) to ensure accurate period-end reporting4. Own the month-end close process end-to-end, meeting established deadlines and maintaining a detailed close checklist5. Prepare and analyze the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP6. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve variances7. Prepare & file Sales & Use Tax, Personal Property Tax, and miscellaneous privilege /excise taxes8. Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of the close cycle10. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesQualifications1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; 3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes4. Experience with inter-company accounting and multi-entity environments5. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalInterested in hearing more?
