If you have strong accounting experience and are ready for your next career opportunity, we’d love to hear from youKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, monthly financial statements, and MIS reports for the tourism sector.Revenue Management: Reconcile tour bookings, handle multi-currency transactions, and manage accounts receivable/payable relating to foreign agents and local suppliers.Supplier Reconciliations: Coordinate closely with hotels, transport providers, and overseas tour operators to verify invoices and process payments.Tax Compliance: Manage statutory compliance including VAT, SSCL, and TDL (Tourism Development Levy), ensuring all submissions are up to date.Audit Support: Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth year-end closures and financial compliance.Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Fully or partly qualified in a recognised professional accounting body (CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA), or holding a Degree in Finance / Accounting.Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the Travel & Tourism industry (inbound & outbound tour package management company).Skills: Proficiency in computerised accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP environments) and advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel.Communication: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.What We OfferAn attractive, market-driven remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience.A collaborative and fast-paced work environment with opportunities for professional growth within the Group.How to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to forward their comprehensive CV, together with the contact details of two non-related referees within 14 days of this advertisement.
