Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant – Petroleum Business📍 Location: Sharjah, UAE 💰 Salary: AED 5,000 per monthWe are looking for an experienced Accountant to join a company operating in the petroleum business in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of relevant UAE accounting experience, preferably within the petroleum or oil & gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records- Handle accounts payable and receivable- Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment records- Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations- Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting- Monitor expenses, payments, and cash flow- Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions- Assist with VAT, corporate tax, and other UAE compliance requirements- Coordinate with management, suppliers, customers, auditors, and other relevant parties- Support the finance team with other accounting and reporting requirements

Requirements

• 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE- Relevant experience in the petroleum business is required- Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and regulations- Good understanding of VAT and corporate tax requirements- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy- Good communication and organizational skills- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
