Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant in Greer, SC to support financial operations and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting processes, collaborate with leadership, and play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and reporting. This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits.

Responsibilities

Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding verification, approvals, and payment processingOversee customer billing activities, post payments, investigate discrepancies, and support collections efforts for outstanding balancesPerform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure account accuracyReconcile general ledger accounts and supporting subledgersLead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activitiesPrepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management reviewSupport internal controls, compliance initiatives, and financial documentation processesCoordinate with external accounting and tax advisors regarding year-end reporting and tax-related mattersDevelop ad hoc financial, operational, and administrative reports as neededParticipate in process improvements, special projects, and other initiatives that support business growth

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reportingStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practicesExperience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skillsProven ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracyCompensation & Benefits:$85,000 - $100,000Medical, Dental, VisionPTOCompany Paid HolidaysRetirement PlanExcellent CultureMonday – Friday Schedule (8am to 5pm)100% ONSITE
