The team works closely with customers to deliver efficient, reliable, and cost-effective travel arrangements.Role Description The General Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording and reconciling financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. The General Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow, assist with budgeting, and support audits and compliance with local regulations. This position also requires coordination with internal departments and external partners to ensure accurate and timely financial information that supports the company’s travel operations.Qualifications Strong foundation in general accounting, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong skills in MS Excel and other financial tools.Knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT, and compliance requirements relevant to the travel and tourism sector.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.Prior experience in accounting within travel, hospitality, or service industries is preferred.
