Apply & track with Apply EdgePosition OverviewMy client, an international leading law firm, are looking Senior Accountant will support the Finance Manager in running the day-to-day finance operations of the Riyadh office and will help with ad hoc projects as needed. The role works closely with the US and London finance teams to meet the Riyadh office’s financial management needs.ResponsibilitiesSupport the processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank transactions, including expense payments, revenue collections, and bank and credit card reconciliationsSupport client billing, e-invoicing and collections for the Riyadh office, working with the London-based Revenue TeamHelp submit client e-bills through local electronic billing systems and confirm they were submitted successfullySupport month-end and year-end close, including accrual and adjusting journal entries and account reconciliationsGather the information needed to prepare local and country regulatory and tax filings, in coordination with the Finance Manager and the external consultantCoordinate financial and tax audits, providing the required support and documentationEnsure compliance with Firm policies and proceduresTake on ad hoc assignments as neededQualificationsEducation, Experience and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldAt least 3 years of transactional finance experience, covering billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and payroll; law firm or professional services experience preferredWorking knowledge of KSA accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal and regulatory requirementsFluent written and spoken Arabic and EnglishStrong attention to detail, with analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate financial information clearlyStrong customer service focus and commitment to excellence, with a motivated, proactive and confident approachAbility to manage multiple priorities, work well under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teamsAbility to adapt to shifting priorities and take ownership of responsibilitiesAbility to work with professionals at all levels while maintaining strict confidentialityTechnologies and SoftwareProficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and Word skillsExperience with Elite 3E, Coupa and Chrome River preferredFamiliarity with online e-invoicing and banking platforms
