Apply & track with Apply EdgeABC Cargo UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage general ledger accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
- Handle bank, branch, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections reporting.
- Prepare cash flow reports, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
- Coordinate audit requirements and maintain accurate financial documentation.
- Maintain strong internal controls and accurate ERP accounting records.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- M.Com or a higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE accounting experience, including experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar senior-level role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
- Strong ERP and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent reconciliation, analytical, and reporting abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
- Cargo, courier, logistics, or transportation experience will be an advantage.
- CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualification will be an added advantage.
