Senior Accountant

Connect Search is partnering with a rapidly scaling E & P company to search for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, preparing corporate financial statements, and month end close. If you are looking for a career-making opportunity that will allow you to be a key player, this is the role for you!Why join this team:Growing company – they just completed another acquisition on September 1stCollaborative environment – not focused on titles; everyone's voice mattersStrong leadership – experienced people with extensive industry experienceMission driven – committed to improving the lives of the people who work for themWhat you will be doing:Corporate Accounting & Financial ReportingManage General Ledger: Prepare and record monthly journal entries, accruals, and adjustments for corporate expenses, revenues, and assets.Month-End Close: Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes timely and accurately.Account Reconciliations: Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation of internal management reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Audit Support: Provide documentation and schedules to support internal and external financial audits.What we are looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Bilingual - English/Spanish is requiredMinimum of 4 years of progressive corporate accounting experience within the upstream Oil & Gas (E&P) industry OR public accounting experience with E&P clientsSAP experience is a plusAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data analysis).
