Team members contribute to building a robust investment platform that supports economic development and sector innovation.Role Description The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations. The role will also involve monitoring internal controls, analyzing variances, supporting audits, and providing financial insights to management to help guide investment decisions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial records and efficient accounting processes.Qualifications Strong expertise in financial accounting, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting for management.Knowledge of relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and local regulatory and tax requirements.Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, along with solid Excel and data analysis skills.Demonstrated ability to maintain internal controls, support audits, and improve accounting processes.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, SOCPA) is preferred.Several years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within investment, financial services, or related sectors.Strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.odoo
