They are currently looking for a Senior Accountant with prior experience in a multi-national company and have relevant accounting experience. The role is based in Riyadh. Open to those based in Riyadh.Knowledge, Experience, and Skills3+ years of relevant experience.Experience in a comparable multi-national organization, with biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferredCPA or equivalent qualifications will be plus.Knowledge of generally accepted accounting policies and procedures.Prior experience in a comparable organization, with responsibility for such processes as financial reporting, tax, AR/Credit, A/P, etcStrong knowledge of integrated Enterprise systems, ideally SAP, and proficiency with Microsoft toolsJob Profile: Effectively creates and documents a high volume of journal entries with minimal errors and review by supervisors.Appropriately discusses and defends work and analyses.Will serve as a point of contact to external auditors and other personnel, preparing analyses and schedules, addressing questions, and applying knowledge to resolve routine problems.Interacts with peers in other Functions to gather information for analyses and disseminate accounting information.Serves as a technical resource to more junior employees.Responsibilities:Performs and possibly supervises accounting sub-function and preparation of reports and statistics detailing financial results.Coordinates schedules, activities and reports with other departments.Establishes and maintains operating procedures within the context of existing internal controls and company policies.Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of journal entries (with appropriate supporting documentation) for the month-end close and accounting transactions.Maintains, reconciles and resolves P&L and balance sheet ledger accounts.Manage the reporting requirements for statutory and corporate compliance, e.g VAT/WHT, and cash Flow forecast etc.Responsible for preparing analysis and schedules for local management as well as internal and external auditors.Frequently interacts with peers, outside customers, external auditors and functional group members at various management levels.May be asked to train employees in other functions on the proper use of accounting software and tools.Ownership of the accounting processes to support balance sheet accruals, provisions, allocations, reclassifications, and other accounting transactionsInteraction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations or providing technical information concerning specific projects.Ad hoc analyses as needed
