This includes supporting the month-end close process by ensuring journal entries, intercompany reconciliations and KPI analysis are performed on a timely and accurate basis. You will perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.As a Senior Accountant, you will assist in the preparation of the statutory financial reports, working closely with external audit and have a strong risk-mindset with adherence to the internal control environment.This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building stakeholder relationships, both within and outside Finance, and who is looking to grow their career within a fast-paced organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess cash and other journal transactions in the general ledgerReconciliation of general ledger accounts to supporting schedules, including system reportsComplete end to end entity accounting, including journals and reconciliations for up to two Corporate entitiesFinal monthly P&L and Balance Sheet for Corporate entitiesContribute towards the monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reporting to managementCompletion of monthly/quarterly BAS - Monthly Operational expenditure reporting to C-Suite and Divisional leads.Reconciliation and clearance of related party balancesCompletion of year-end audit packs and assisting with the review of annual statutory financial statements and audit queries as and when requiredAbout YouThe successful applicant will be CA or CPA qualified and possess over 2 years in a commercial setting.
