HIRING | SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – GENERAL LEDGER (GL/R2R) Location: Chennai – Thoraipakkam Experience: 3–5 Years Shift: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM IST Work Mode: Full Time Interview: Face-to-Face (F2F) Interview Time: 5:00 PM ROLE: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – GENERAL LEDGERWe are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong experience in General Ledger / R2R, reconciliations, month-end activities, and US Accounting to join our finance team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Handle and review General Ledger (GL) and R2R activities Perform month-end closing activities Prepare Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Reconciliations Handle Payroll Accounting, Income Journals, and Sales Tax workings/filing Prepare monthly financial reports and deliverables for Management Identify and resolve unreconciled and aged items Coordinate with clients through emails and calls for issue resolution Track errors and prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports Ensure completion of assigned activities within committed timelines Maintain work allocation and support KPI/performance reporting Escalate pending or critical issues to Management Ensure compliance with information security and control procedures REQUIRED SKILLS 3–5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting Strong knowledge of General Accounting Principles Hands-on experience in GL / R2R Strong understanding of Reconciliation & Month-End Closing US Accounting exposure is highly preferred Good knowledge of MS Excel Experience with accounting software such as Oracle / M3 / Yardi is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
