Company: 100+ global IT related companyReport line: Accounting ManagerTeam: 5 peopleSalary: up to 13M JPYLocation: Tokyo, HybridResponsibilitiesManage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for assigned businesses, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, management reports, and performance analyses while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Analyze revenue, operating expenses, cash flow, and profitability to identify business trends and provide actionable recommendations.Partner directly with local stakeholders by providing financial guidance, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and helping improve overall business performance.Develop reporting tools, improve accounting processes, and build strong relationships with business partners and internal stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; professional accounting qualifications are preferred.Several years of accounting experience covering month－end closing, financial reporting, and financial analysis, ideally within retail, consumer goods, franchise, or other multi－site businesses.Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and experience using ERP systems, accounting software, or reporting tools.Business－level Japanese and English communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly to both finance and non－finance stakeholders.Self－motivated with strong business partnering skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a newly established role.
