Working closely with the Controller and CFO, the Senior Accountant will take ownership of key accounting operations while helping build the processes, controls and reporting infrastructure required to support the company's continued expansion.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations and accruals.Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting.Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.Support revenue recognition and accounting for customer contracts under US GAAP.Assist with audit preparation, financial controls and compliance.Partner with the FP&A team to support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems and reporting.Support the Controller and CFO on ad hoc projects, including ERP optimisation and finance process improvements.Work cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Success and other teams to ensure accurate financial data.Ideal Profile4–7+ years’ accounting experience, ideally Big 4/public accounting followed by high-growth SaaS, HealthTech or software.CPAStrong understanding of US GAAP and month-end close processes.Experience with revenue recognition, ASC 606 and financial reporting.Previous experience in a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager or similar role.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite highly desirable.Strong Excel/Google Sheets and analytical skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.Commercially minded, hands-on and eager to take ownership.Strong communicator with the ability to partner effectively across the business.TalentEdge are specialist finance recruiters supporting VC-backed startups, scale-ups and technology businesses across New York and London.
