Senior Accountant – Trade Finance, AR & Credit Control

We are hiring a Senior Accountant for a leading interior solution and building materials company in Dubai.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Accounts Receivable, Customer Invoicing, Credit Control, Collections, and Trade Finance, with hands-on exposure to Letters of Credit (LCs) and banking transactions. Experience within a Trading, Building Materials, Furniture, Sanitary Ware, Retail Distribution, or Import/Export environment is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the complete Accounts Receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations.Monitor customer aging reports and drive timely recovery of outstanding payments.Handle customer credit limits, payment follow-ups, and credit control activities.Manage and coordinate Letter of Credit (LC) transactions, amendments, and related documentation.Liaise with banks, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on trade finance matters.Review commercial invoices, shipping documents, and supporting trade documentation.Prepare customer statements, credit notes, debit notes, and collection reports.Resolve billing disputes and account discrepancies.Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.Ensure accurate accounting records within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.Assist with month-end closing, audits, and financial reporting.RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification preferred.5+ years of UAE accounting experience.Strong expertise in:Accounts ReceivableCredit ControlCollections & RecoveryCustomer InvoicingAccount ReconciliationCash Flow MonitoringHands-on experience with Letters of Credit (LCs) and Trade Finance.Experience dealing directly with banks and commercial customers.Mandatory experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.Experience within Trading, Building Materials, Furniture, Sanitary Ware, Distribution, or Import/Export businesses.Strong Excel, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred BackgroundCandidates currently working with:Building Materials CompaniesFurniture DistributorsSanitary Ware & Tiles BusinessesTrading & Distribution CompaniesImport / Export OrganizationsInterior Solutions Providers
