Senior Accounts Officer (12-month Contract)

We are working with a leading international company to hire a Senior Accounts Officer / Accountant on a 12-month contract providing maternity cover within its Finance team. This is a hands-on accounting position covering month-end closing, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting activities. If you are comfortable taking on a 12-month contract and enjoy a varied accounting role where you can work independently, we would love to hear from you. What You Will Be DoingHandle day-to-day accounting for business transactions and operating expenses. Support month-end closing including journals, prepayments, depreciation, and other accounting adjustments. Prepare and analyse monthly financial results for management reporting. Prepare accounting records, financial statements, and quarterly reporting packages. Support annual financial audits and preparation of relevant schedules and documentation. Participate in finance-related system implementation and process improvement initiatives where required. What We Are Looking ForRelevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Hands-on accounting experience with exposure to month-end closing, general ledger, full-set accounts, or financial reports. Open to a 12-month contract position.
