Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the RoleClarity Partners is looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Officer to join a construction business based in CBD, delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, residential and social infrastructure projects.This is a hands-on role within the finance function, where you will take ownership of core accounting activities and contribute to the smooth and accurate management of day-to-day financial operations. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will support transactional accounting, reconciliations, reporting and month-end activities while helping maintain strong financial controls and processes.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsProcess invoices, payments, receipts and other financial transactions accuratelyPerform bank, balance sheet and account reconciliationsAssist with month-end close and financial reporting activitiesMaintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are appropriately codedManage supplier and stakeholder queries and resolve account-related issuesPrepare and assist with payment runsMonitor outstanding accounts and follow up on discrepancies where requiredSupport the wider finance team with reporting, analysis and ad hoc accounting requirementsAssist with maintaining effective financial controls and processesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficienciesAbout YouPrevious experience as a Senior Accounts Officer or in a similar accounting positionStrong experience across accounts payable and accounts receivableSound knowledge of reconciliations, payment processing and month-end activitiesExperience within property, construction, development or a project-based environment will be highly regardedStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive approach to identifying and resolving issuesAbility to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative finance teamStrong Microsoft Excel and accounting systems capabilityWhy This RoleJoin a progressive Western Australian property group with a diverse project portfolioBe part of an organisation focused on sustainable and purpose-driven developmentWork across a varied and hands-on accounting functionPerth CBD locationHybrid working arrangement with 1 day WFH per weekCollaborate with experienced finance and business stakeholdersWork within a business delivering projects across commercial, industrial, residential and social infrastructure sectorsIf you are an experienced accounts professional looking for a hands-on role within a progressive property and development environment, apply now through Clarity Partners.
