Apply & track with Apply Edge- Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, receipts, payments, and journal entries.* Prepare and maintain accurate invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.* Perform bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations.* Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-up.* Assist with monthly closing, financial reports, and management reporting.* Maintain proper documentation and records of all accounting transactions.* Assist in the preparation and submission of UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with applicable VAT requirements.* Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding finance-related matters.* Assist with payroll-related accounting activities, as required.* Support internal and external audits by providing the required financial records and documentation.* Monitor expenses and ensure transactions are properly recorded and supported by relevant documents.* Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and applicable UAE regulations.* Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.Requirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.* Minimum 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.* Native Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills.* Strong hands-on experience on UAE accounting practices, VAT, and financial reporting.* Proven experience handling full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closing.* Strong knowledge of UAE VAT compliance and VAT return preparation.* Experience in preparing financial statements, management reports, account schedules, and reconciliations.* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.* Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting/ERP systems.* Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial procedures.* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.* Ability to work independently, take ownership of accounting activities, and meet deadlines.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate with management, auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and internal teams.* Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent will be an advantage.* Candidates available to join on short notice will be preferred.
