Apply & track with Apply EdgeThis role is responsible for managing end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, reconciliations, and compliance with VAT and other regulatory requirements. This role coordinates closely with the Contracts & Procurement (C&P) team to ensure smooth procurement-to-payment transactions and effective vendor management. This role also supervises periodic physical counts of stores and spare parts inventory in collaboration with the C&P team to maintain inventory accuracy, proper valuation, and strong inventory controls.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Accounts Payable ManagementManage full-cycle accounts payable operations across corporate and subsidiary entities.Review, verify, and process high-volume supplier invoices accurately and within agreed timelines.Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.Monitor payment schedules and ensure timely execution of vendor payments.Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.Prepare accruals, journal entries, and reconcile AP sub-ledger to the general ledger.Treasury & Cash Flow SupportForecast and monitor weekly and monthly cash disbursement requirements.Support treasury functions in liquidity planning and working capital management.Monitor bank balances and coordinate intercompany and external fund transfers.Assist in foreign exchange exposure monitoring and payment planning.Fixed Assets ManagementMaintain the fixed assets register and oversee asset capitalization.Ensure proper asset tagging, depreciation calculations, disposals, and transfers.Perform periodic reconciliations of fixed asset records with the general ledger.Support fixed asset audits and compliance reviews.Inventory & Cost AccountingMonitor inventory accounting transactions, stock movements, and cost allocation activities to ensure accurate inventory valuation, costing, and financial reporting.Perform inventory reconciliations, cost variance analysis, and provide insights to support budgeting, cost control, and management decision-making.Coordinate periodic physical stock counts with the Operations and investigate and resolve inventory variances to maintain accurate records and effective cost managementFinancial Reporting & ComplianceEnsure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and UAE Corporate Tax requirements.Prepare financial reports and schedules supporting management decision-making.Provide budget inputs, cost analysis, and variance reports.Maintain strong internal controls and accounting accuracy.Process Improvement & Stakeholder ManagementPartner with procurement, project teams, and business stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues.Enhance invoice processing workflows and vendor management processes.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce reconciliation errors.Strengthen vendor relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.Audit SupportSupport internal and external audits by providing required documentation and schedules.Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and audit requirements.Implement recommendations to enhance process controls and financial governance.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, payment execution, and month-end closing activities while ensuring compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations. Support treasury functions through cash flow forecasting, payment planning, bank balance monitoring, and fund transfer coordination, while maintaining accurate fixed asset and inventory accounting records. Utilize Oracle ERP to drive efficient financial operations, reporting, reconciliations, audit compliance, and continuous process improvements across the finance function. Conduct frequent physical counts of spare parts in coordination with the Contracts & Procurement (C&P) Team, ensuring inventory accuracy, proper stock valuation, and timely resolution of inventory variances.KEY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA, CMA, MBA or equivalent professional qualification preferred. Around 7-10 years of relevant experienceHands-on Oracle Fusion (ERP) experience is mandatoryProven experience managing Accounts Payable processes within Oracle ERP (preferred) or/and SAP. Experience handling multi-entity accounting environments.Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and UAE Corporate Tax. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
