Senior Actuarial Analyst

We are looking for a talented Student Actuary with strong analytical skills and experience in P&C to join our actuarial team. The role will involve supporting the actuarial activities across Data Analysis, Pricing, Reserving, Regulatory Reporting and Risk Management.Hands-on experience in SQL and R/Python will be a strong advantage and will place candidates at the top of the shortlist.

Responsibilities

Assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirementsHandle analytical work covering data preparation and analysisAssist with the portfolio analysis for all P&C Lines of Business.Assist in Pricing as and when required including large schemes and fleetsAssist in Risk management reporting including ORSAAssist in analytical work for business decision making

Requirements

Essential:Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Actuarial Science/Finance2-4 years of experience in an actuarial function with at least 2+ years’ experience in a non-life insurance company actuarial functionWorking towards actuarial qualification (3+ exams)Strong Excel skillsStrong analytical, mathematical and statistical skillsProficiency in coding in R and SQLNice to have:Experience with visualization tools like Power BI/TableauExperience with tools such as AlteryxBroad knowledge of applicable UAE laws and regulations
