We enjoy a close working relationship with our clients based on trust, integrity and professionalism, as we strive to provide the highest levels of service.We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Actuarial Analyst with Non-Life or Life insurance experience to join our Lux team in Dubai. Our GCC practice contains actuarial professionals with diverse exposure across geographies and disciplines. We are the first company in the MENA region certified by the Quality Assurance Scheme of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries UK. You will work alongside these experienced professionals on both client engagements and internal development projects, including pricing, reserving, IFRS17 and modelling. You will also gain exposure and opportunities to learn about other innovative propositions.

Responsibilities

Assisting and working on product development, pricing, capital modelling and reserving projectsPrepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to clientsAssist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirementsProvide support in research and development

Requirements

Essential:2 to 5 years of experience in non-life or life actuarial consulting or the insurance industry4+ exam passes from the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries or equivalentStrong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesDesired:Experience with IFRS 17, reserving & non-life/life pricingFamiliarity with GCC insurance regulationsKnowledge of programming languages such as VBA or R and tools such as Tableau and AlteryxSelf-motivation to achieve actuarial qualification, with demonstrated, consistent progress.What working at Lux offers:We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be recognised based on your performance and rewarded for the value you bring to our business.
