We are here to help our clients meet these evolving energy needs.This is an exciting time to join us on this journey.Are you ready to bring the right energy to Petrofac and help us deliver a better future for everyone?JOB TITLE: Senior Advisor, HSSE - TrainingKey AccountabilitiesDevelop and implement Training Management plan for the ProjectDevelop project/office HSSE Training matrix consulting with HSSE Manager and develop monthly rolling training plan based on the prioritiesEstablish HSSE training database for the project/office and ensure database is maintained and updated effectivelyPrepare weekly and monthly training statistics and provide the reports to HSSE ManagerDevelop and issue HSSE related safety flashes, alerts, bulletins, training hand-outs other awareness materialDevelop required training modules based on the corporate modules and project proceduresContinuously monitor and review HSSE training courses and programs for relevance and effectiveness with a focus of identifying areas for improvementConduct safety inductions for all company employees, contractors and visitors and craft trainings as requiredConduct both theoretical and (practical whenever needed) training sessionsTrain workers and supervisory staff on Safe Systems of Work (PTW, Risk Assessments etc.)Conduct training sessions on hazard-specific topics (e.g., H2S, confined space, working at height, fire safety)Assist in HSSE campaigns on safe driving, heat stress, etc.Conduct periodic HSSE training audits on subcontractors as part of the continual improvement processEnsure suggestions and recommendations resulting from feedback are thoroughly assessed and followed-up within a timely mannerSupport sub-contractor HSSE trainers to ensure they are carrying out trainings as planned. Assess subcontractor workforce capabilities and modify training programs and presentations as needed to maximize workforce learnings.Implement Competency Assessment process for HSSE and Non-HSSE positions as requiredConduct site visits to provide support to the projects HSSE Training team when required"Translate HSSE training material in local languages where requiredCarry out other HSSE related tasks as advised by the supervisorQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree (4 years) or Diploma (3 years)NEBOSH certification or equivalentTrain the trainer certificate - Third partyLead or Internal Auditor (ISO 45001/ ISO 14001) - preferable8 years diversified experience in HSSE specialties within the Oil & Gas industry with a strong background in instructing HSSE related training courses such as but not limited to: Inductions, HSSE awareness, Major Accidental Hazards, Environmental Management etc.Skills & CompetenciesProven ability to develop and deliver HSSE training programs, including orientation, induction, awareness, and refresher sessionsKnowledge in training needs analysis, preparation of training materials, and assessment toolsEffectively communicate HSSE policies, procedures, legal requirements, emergency response procedures, welfare requirements, and site-specific HSSE protocols to a diverse workforceExperienced in delivering training on Safe Systems of Work (PTW, Risk Assessments etc.), hazard-specific topics (e.g., H2S, confined space, working at height, fire safety) and Major Accidental Hazards (MAHs)Strong training, coordination, evaluation & planning skills and competence in using visual aids, presentations, and practical demonstrations to enhance learning outcomesFluent in spoken and written English, with excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skillsWell versed with the Client Procedures, Manuals, Guidelines, Contractor Onboarding HSE requirements and local regulations.Previous Client approval is an added advantageAdditional Information
