Senior AI Architect

You will play a central role driving innovation across our Digital portfolio to our clients Northern Europe.This is a highly hands-on role for an experienced architect who combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of business transformation. You will help define the future of AI at T-Systems while delivering real-world impact for some of Northern Europe’s most demanding and regulated organisations.

Responsibilities

· Partner with customers and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions.· Design and architect enterprise-grade AI solutions leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), machine learning, and intelligent automation technologies.· Lead the development of prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production-ready AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.· Define AI architecture principles, technical standards, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture strategies.· Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, cloud specialists, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable AI solutions.· Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tools, and assess their applicability to customers and business needs.· Ensure AI solutions comply with security, governance, regulatory, and responsible AI requirements.· Drive the integration of AI capabilities into existing business processes, platforms, and enterprise systems.· Support customer engagements, workshops, pre-sales activities, and strategic discussions related to AI transformation.· Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers and internal stakeholders on AI architecture, adoption, and best practices.· Drive innovation initiatives and contribute to the evolution of T-Systems' AI and Digital portfolio.· Mentor and guide colleagues on AI architecture, AI engineering practices, and emerging technologies.Skills/Experience:· Proven track record of translating business challenges into scalable AI and digital solutions that deliver measurable business value.· Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.· Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale AI, machine learning, and Generative AI solutions.· Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Conversational AI, and modern AI application architectures.· Experience with AI engineering practices, orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and production-grade AI platforms.· Proven expertise in cloud-native AI solutions, preferably on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.· Proficiency in Python and experience building production-ready AI applications and services.· Strong understanding of data architecture, data platforms, integration patterns, and data engineering principles.· Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and operationalization of AI models and services.· Proven knowledge of AI governance, security, compliance, and Responsible AI principles.· Experience engaging with customers and business stakeholders, translating requirements into technical architectures and solution roadmaps.· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.· Previous experience as an AI Architect, Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, or similar senior technical leadership role.
