Senior AI Developer (Python)

We are building Vingroup’s unified technology platform, connecting intelligent enterprise operations with customer-facing digital products and a national-scale super app. Our teams work across AI, data, cloud infrastructure, identity, finance, HR systems, and next-generation digital applications.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Senior Full-stack Developer to join our Data & AI Platform team and build the core infrastructure powering enterprise AI applications. You will design scalable AI-native systems involving Multi-Agent Orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication, while collaborating closely with AI/ML engineers and product teams. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain the core features of an enterprise AI Platform with high scalability and reliability.Architect end-to-end full-stack systems covering frontend, backend, APIs, databases, microservices, and LLM integrations.Build and optimize complete RAG pipelines, including document processing, vector embeddings, semantic search, context retrieval, and prompt engineering.Develop sophisticated Multi-Agent Systems with orchestration logic, task delegation, conflict resolution, state management, and agent collaboration.Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication frameworks for complex AI workflows.Design RESTful APIs and GraphQL services while integrating third-party AI services and vector databases.Optimize performance through profiling, caching strategies, concurrent request handling, and scalable system architecture.Maintain high engineering standards by writing unit and integration tests, conducting code reviews, and documenting technical architecture.Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and AI/ML Engineers while mentoring junior developers.Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, agent frameworks, and prompt optimization techniques to continuously improve the platform.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.Professional ExperienceMinimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development.Preferred 2+ years working with AI Platforms, AI Agents, Multi-Agent Systems, RAG, MCP, or Agent-to-Agent communication.Programming & FrameworksStrong proficiency in Python.Deep understanding of memory models, closures, threading, and event loops.Experience with React or Vue.js.Solid knowledge of reusable module design, SOLID principles, and advanced software design patterns.AI Platform & LLM DevelopmentHands-on experience building AI Agent applications and Multi-Agent orchestration.Strong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture.Experience implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent communication.Integration experience with LLM providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, GPT-4, or equivalent models.Knowledge of prompt engineering and context management.Experience working with vector databases including Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, or Milvus.DatabaseExperience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).Ability to select appropriate database architectures based on application requirements.Practical experience using vector databases for AI applications.API & IntegrationDesign and develop RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.Integrate third-party platforms and AI services.Strong understanding of communication flow between frontend, backend, databases, and external services.Event-Driven ArchitectureExperience with Apache Kafka for event streaming and message processing.Understanding of asynchronous communication and event-driven system design.DevOps & CloudBuild, test, and deploy CI/CD pipelines independently.Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8S) for container orchestration.Experience optimizing CI/CD, caching, and proxy configurations.Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS).Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is an advantage.Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments is a plus.System ArchitectureStrong understanding of Monolithic, Microservices, and Event-Driven architectures.Ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and scalability.Experience designing highly maintainable, modular, and scalable systems.Testing & SecurityDesign comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and edge-case testing.Experience with automated testing frameworks.Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, rate limiting, logging, token management, and security scanning tools.Soft SkillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.Ability to review complex pull requests and provide architectural feedback.Experience mentoring junior engineers.Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional teams.Nice to HaveExperience fine-tuning LLMs.Knowledge of AI/ML workflows and model lifecycle.Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or CrewAI.Contributions to AI-related open-source projects.Experience with multi-cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.Why Join Us?Build AI infrastructure powering products across the Vingroup ecosystem.Work on cutting-edge technologies including Multi-Agent Systems, RAG, MCP, and enterprise LLM applications.Collaborate with top AI and software engineering talent in Vietnam.Contribute to next-generation digital experiences at national scale.
