Senior AI Engineer

ConnectSquads, the IT Recruitment & Staff Augmentation division of Connectalents, is currently hiring "Senior AI Engineer" in Sherton, Cairo for a leading provider of advanced technology solutions across the Middle East & Africa, specializing in Cloud, Data Analytics, AI, and Digital Transformation.Job Role• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML solutions including data preparation, modeling, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.• Develop scalable data and ML pipelines with reproducibility and robust quality checks.• Implement and optimize machine learning models for predictive analytics and NLP use cases.• Productionize models using MLOps practices including CI/CD, model monitoring, drift detection, and retraining strategies.• Translate business objectives into ML problem statements, success metrics, and acceptance criteria.• Contribute to solution architecture decisions including data stores, compute, orchestration, observability, and security.• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to engineering best practices.What we need• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML Engineering and Applied Data Science.• Strong foundation in Statistics, Machine Learning, and Data Modeling.• Advanced Python programming skills.• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.• Practical experience deploying ML systems in production environments.• Strong SQL and data handling skills with structured and semi-structured data.• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering, or a related field.• Experience with LLMs / GenAI including RAG, embeddings, prompt orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails.• Experience with modern data stacks, orchestration tools, or streaming technologies.• Familiarity with security, governance, and compliance considerations for AI systems.• Client-facing or consulting experience.• Excellent Command of English LanguageWhat We Offer:• Ownership of real-world AI delivery from design to production.• A high-impact role shaping AI-powered data products and solutions.• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including data engineers, data scientists, and software engineers.• Competitive compensation package and growth opportunities.
