🤖 Senior AI Software Engineer📍 Abu Dhabi⌛ 6-month initial contract - with extensionsWe’re looking for experienced Senior AI Software Engineers to join a banking technology team, developing and optimising AI products and delivering seamless, engaging user experiences.You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend engineers, product and data teams, to build scalable, secure and high-performing AI solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop robust full-stack applications and APIs using modern interfaces and event-driven frameworks.Build reusable components and libraries using modern frameworks.Build cloud-native applications leveraging Microsoft Azure or other major cloud services.Optimise application frontends and backends for usability, performance, scalability and security.Implement data protection measures, authentication protocols and security best practices.Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers and product managers to refine features.Work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to improve data quality and insights.Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests to maintain code quality and reliability.Stay up to date with industry trends, tools and best practices.What We’re Looking For5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably working on AI products.Strong expertise in full-stack development, including both backend and frontend development.Experience with modern technologies such as Python, Rust, Golang, React and Angular.Strong experience designing and integrating secure, production-grade APIs, including API versioning, observability, monitoring, tracing, logging and modern authentication mechanisms.Hands-on experience with containerisation and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with AI/ML, GenAI and agentic frameworks, such as LangGraph and Microsoft Agent Framework, is a bonus.Familiarity with CI/CD, version control and deployment automation.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.The OpportunityThis is an opportunity to work on AI products within a major banking environment, combining full-stack engineering, cloud-native development, secure API design and emerging AI technologies.
