Senior AI Engineer

We are hiring a Software Engineer to join the founding technology team behind a new AI-enabled equity hedge fund.This is an early-stage build within an established investment business, giving you the pace and ownership of a start-up with the backing and infrastructure to build properly.You’ll work directly with engineering, quantitative research and investment teams, building technology that has a real impact on the investment process.What you’ll be building:Research applications, stock screeners and investment workflowsBackend services, APIs and data pipelinesProduction AI and LLM-powered applicationsAI agents, retrieval and document-processing workflowsCloud-native, scalable production systemsWhat we’re looking for:3+ years of commercial software engineering experienceStrong Python experience in production environmentsExperience with C#, Java, Go or another strongly typed backend languageStrong API, backend and data engineering fundamentalsExperience with cloud, containers and modern engineering practicesAn interest in LLMs, AI agents and building production AI systemsPrevious hedge fund experience isn’t required.
